                   AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING AN ALLEY
                   LOCATED SOUTHWEST OF WILSON STREET, BETWEEN
                   WHEELER AVENUE AND CHAMBERLAIN AVENUE, MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby 
closed
         and abandoned an alley located southwest of Wilson Street, 
between
         Wheeler Avenue and Chamberlain Avenue, more particularly 
described
         herein, and as shown on plat attached hereto and made a part
         hereof by reference:
                Part of a 10 foot wide unopened alleyway beginning
                300 feet southwest of the southwest line of Wilson
                Street, and extending southwest 50 feet between
                parallel lines parallel to, and 125 feet northwest
                of, the northwest line of N. Chamberlain Avenue. 
                Said part of alleyway separates lot 7, block 1,
                from lot 7, block 6, Woodlawn Subdivision, as shown
                by plat of record in plat book 2, page 3, ROHC. 
                Tax Map No. 146D-C-14 and 24.
               
              	   SECTION 2.	  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this
         Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its 
passage
         as provided by law.
